A settled gas bill from Wakefield Gas light Company, October 1823

A settled gas bill from Wakefield Gas Light Company to Mr John Cryer who had a light in his bookbinding shop on Bread Street, Wakefield.  It is signed 'settd, I.Bolton'.  The bill was to be paid 31st October 1823.  Mr Cryer had an Argund burner which was lit from dusk until 9 O'clock, 6 days a week. The half yearly amount comes to 17s. 3d.
