The only information about Alfred which is available is that he was brought up in Crofton, that he was a married man, who probably served in the Far East and was killed in Burma.
The Commonwealth War Graves Commission confirm that Alfred did serve in Burma. He died there on 5th February 1945 when he was 30 years old.
Alfred is buried in the Taukkyan War Cemetery Rangoon, Burma.
