Mrs Hodgson of 13, Broomhill Square, Knottingley has been notified that her husband W/Bdr Leonard Hodgson has been wounded in Italy. W/Bdr Hodgson joined the Army over four years ago; took part in the North African campaign and was transferred to Italy after her collapse. Before being called up, he was employed by Messrs Bagley and Co Ltd, glass bottle manufacturers of Knottingley.”
Note “W” denotes that he was Welsh.
